First up, apologies, again! I kept waiting in hopes of having the truly positive news that we had Cursed King ready to release any day now.

We do not, quite, still have Cursed King ready to release any day now. It’s super, super close…

What’s happened since the last update is, Rowan has gotten the vast majority of the layout done and attempted to get a proof copy uploaded to DriveThruRPG. Current version has been rejected — slight layout errors — but we’re working on it. I was very much hoping to have copies on sale at the upcoming Day of Legend IV, Dragon Warriors 40th Anniversary event organised in London this weekend by Simon Barns.

What I will have available on my tablet is the PDF version for people to at least take a look at on the day. And we’re very hopeful to have print and PDF up for sale in a week or two — just have to get the correct proof copy ordered and approved.

We will also hopefully have a small and very limited (20 made!) stash of Dragon Warriors 40th anniversary T-shirts with Chris Catterall’s cover image for Cursed King, for sale.

Chris has been working on a re-visioning of Sir Balin from the original 1985 rulebook too… here’s a very preliminary sketch.

Not quite sure what that will get used for but we’ll think of something!
