Dragon Warriors Players Guide – Now Available

At long last the Dragon Warriors Players Guide is now officially available from DriveThruRPG in pdf and print-on-demand.
So, what can you expect to find in this long-awaited tome? A host of information and new rules for Dragon Warriors including:
- New professions – the Knave, Priest, and Hunter are ready to take centre stage.
- New organizations – fight them or join them, it’s up to you.
- New spells for your favourite spellcasting professions!
- Essays on life and magic in Legend
- New weapons, new armour, new combat options.
- A simple skill system in line with the existing language rules.
- Full rules for the demonologist profession now available and updated to include demonologist-specific spells for levels 1-4!
We’ve reprinted the Demonologist from In From the Cold since a lot of people have contacted us looking for the rules since that book went out of print.
Next up is another short adventure “The Summoner’s Tale”, followed by another project we’ll announce when it’s a little further along. Watch this space!
The current product on DriveThruRPG is a print version only – should the PDF be available too?

At long last, now you can separate me from some more of my money 🙂
Very excited to finally see the Player’s guide; I placed my order for the hardcover immediately yesterday, although I was perplexed at the lack of PDF bundle; now I’ve got buyer’s remorse when I see on DrivethruRPG that if I’d waited I could have had the PDF plus the hardcover for no extra cost. Curse the issues with getting the PDFs up!
Is there any way I can present my evidence of purchase of the hardcover and be sent a PDF copy too gratis? I’m really eager to take a look at what’s in the book and waiting up to nine weeks for the book to arrive will be agony.

Kyle, for what it’s worth, I’ve had positive interactions with DrivethruRPG when it came to refunds — I’d try them first to see if they can modify your order and attach the PDF.
Yay! Now I can see my writing eviscerated by my friends (in a good way)!

Will this be available through reatil outlets. I like to buy from & support my local games store, but they tell me that they can’t get hold off copies.

In my experience when a product is PoD it is not available through a distributor which is how game stores typically order product.

Nate is correct, the book is only available as Print on Demand. We’d love to have the numbers to do a full print run but it’s financially unfeasible.
Any ideas on when Summoners Tale will be out? 🙂

Not sure, it is still editing it at the moment. The Reeve’s Tale is also in editing. After that it’s artwork and layout for both modules. If I had to guess I’d say a month.
